Fitbit’s New Fall Device Lineup Helps You Better Understand and Take Control of Your Wellbeing
2020 has been a challenging year. It has changed the way we work, the way we interact with each other, and it’s changed how we think about and manage our wellbeing Fitbit has continued to innovate to meet these challenges, and today we are proud to announce our fall device lineup.
We’re proud to introduce Fitbit Inspire 2, our most accessible, easy-to-use tracker that helps build healthy habits; Fitbit Versa 3, the latest evolution of our most popular family of smartwatches with even more advanced features; and Fitbit Sense, our new groundbreaking health smartwatch that brings our most advanced combination of sensors and innovative technology available on a Fitbit device to help guide people towards better health and wellness.
Stress is a global issue, with one in three people experiencing a lot of worry or stress, as well as psychological and physiological symptoms caused by stress.[1] The combined on-device and in-app experience with Fitbit Sense gives users insights into their body’s response to stress with tools to help users manage both their physical and mental stress.
Fitbit Sense is the company’s first device with an ECG app,[2] to assess their heart rhythm for signs of atrial fibrillation (AFib), a condition that affects more than 33.5 million people globally.[3] Users can simply hold their fingers on the corners of the stainless steel ring around the watch while being still for 30 seconds to receive a reading that can be downloaded to share with their doctor.
Beyond being able to aid in the detection of heart conditions like AFib, Fitbit is bringing together new health metrics in the mobile app that can help uncover trends and changes to user’s well-being.[4] Fitbit Sense adds a new skin temperature sensor to detect changes to user’s wellbeing that may potentially be a sign of a fever or illness.
Fitbit is also launching Fitbit Versa 3, adding new health, fitness and convenience features to the company’s most popular smartwatch family. On-device GPS, an in-app workout intensity map, enhanced PurePulse 2.0 technology, and Active Zone Minutes make it easier than ever for users to stay on top of their fitness goals, beyond tracking daily steps.
Building on the success of the company’s stylish yet affordable Fitbit Inspire and Inspire HR trackers, Fitbit Inspire 2 adds advanced features like Active Zone Minutes, an enhanced stylish, slim design, and a brighter, more vibrant screen with the longest battery life of any Fitbit device at 10 days.[5]
As for software, Fitbit Premium (our health and wellness subscription service offered through the Fitbit app) uplevels the Fitbit experience when paired with any Fitbit device, unlocking a deeper analysis of users’ data and more personalized insights that connect the dots across activity, sleep and heart rate. It also delivers advanced sleep tools, hundreds of workouts from popular brands like Aaptiv, barre3, Daily Burn, Down Dog, obé, Physique 57, POPSUGAR, and Yoga Studio by Gaiam, as well as celebrities, trainers and influencers like Ayesha Curry, Charlee Atkins, and Harley Pasternak.
